For Dairy Farmers of Manitoba, All From a Good Place has always been more than a brand platform. It is a way to tell a more human story about the people behind Manitoba dairy.
With Here, Humanity created an anthem video that celebrates the deep connection Manitoba dairy farmers have to the province they call home. The film brings together family, land, tradition, and quiet local pride to show that Manitoba dairy is not just made here. It is rooted here.
Manitoba dairy farmers take pride in the work they do, the animals they care for, and the communities they help feed. But many consumers, especially young Manitoba families, can feel disconnected from the people behind the dairy products they buy.
The challenge was to create a new anthem video for Dairy Farmers of Manitoba that could build on the All From a Good Place platform while strengthening the emotional connection between Manitoba dairy farmers and Manitoba families.
At a time when local pride, community, and a sense of place feel more meaningful than ever, the opportunity was to show that dairy farmers share the same deep connection to Manitoba as the people they serve.
Challenge
Our strategy was built around a simple truth: Manitoba’s dairy farmers have a deep connection to the province they call home.
Rather than focus only on farming, the story needed to focus on belonging. Manitoba dairy farmers are not separate from the communities they feed. They are families, neighbours, business owners, caregivers, and community members who have built their lives here.
The video was designed to bridge the gap between farmers and young Manitoba families by showing what they have in common: pride in where they come from, the resilience of life in Manitoba, and the traditions passed from one generation to the next.
By grounding the story in shared values and a shared sense of place, Here helped make the work of Manitoba dairy farmers feel more personal, familiar, and connected to everyday life in the province.
Strategy
Here is a cinematic anthem that captures Manitoba dairy through the lens of place and pride.
The film moves between quiet, intimate moments and sweeping views of the Manitoba landscape. We see early mornings, family memories, cows in the field, farmers at work, and the land that surrounds them. Together, these moments create a portrait of dairy farming as something deeply rooted in family, care, and home.
The creative approach was intentionally warm, natural, and emotional. Instead of over-explaining the work of dairy farming, the film invites viewers to feel the connection between people, place, and product.
Through the line Here, the video reinforces the idea that Manitoba dairy comes from families who live here, work here, raise their families here, and care deeply about the province they call home.
